Our Story
I started Verbal Shake after years of managing rental properties. Like most landlords, I made small agreements all the time: a tenant’s promise to pay for damages, a partial rent payment, a verbal warning about a lease violation, the kinds of details that tend to slip through the cracks.
Too often, those conversations happened over the phone or in person, and they didn’t always make it into writing. Later, details were forgotten, or one side remembered things differently.
Those misunderstandings led to wasted time, awkward conversations, and sometimes real financial loss. I wanted a better way to keep everyone on the same page.
